Job Description/Requirement
- Candidate must possess a Professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA ) and/or a Degree in Accounting Finance.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance team, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing.
- Set performance goals and objectives for the team, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting compliance to SGX requirements
- Responsible for ensuring the risk and compliance management framework is embedded and operational for the Group
- Strong management skills: planning, organizing, communicating, implementing and problem-solving
- Preparing timely financial reports and analysis, cash flow management
- Team work with senior management and external partners and stakeholders
- All others related or ad-hoc duties as and when directed by CEO/BOD/ Shareholders
- Oversee the finance functions to enable the efficient and effective management
- Supports Management in providing leadership and management direction for the company’s financial strategy, through active participation in policy- making and implementation related to accounting, costing, corporate finance, taxation and business office. Aligned with company’s goals and objectives, yet remain current Company’s culture
- Responsible for Finance Planning and Analysis matters by reviewing and analyzing business strategies and performance management. (Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements).
- Oversee Accounting Operations, ensuring governance and compliance
- Monitors fund placements and optimize excess funds parked in financial institutions.
- Reviews and manages risks, including implement internal controls and insurance placements, etc. to mitigate risk, wherever possible
- Coordinate financial audits and reviews, ensuring a smooth process and timely resolution of audit findings for All Company’s businesses
- Able to handle private equity
Job Requirement
- Preferably relevant experience as a CFO or in financial management
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
- Must be a hands-on individual with high level of integrity and excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skill.
- Must be able to travel upon required by the Company
- Preferably experience in Financial Institution Industry
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Mandarin is a MUST
- Vast experience handling International Funds/Investors/Corporates/ Banker
- Strong system implementation, Innovative & best practice experiences. Able to up keep with technology advancement related to Finance segment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA or ACCA are highly desirable
- Knowledge of buying/ Selling Company / IPO
Vast experience includes acquisitions, divestments, mergers, strategic planning, business turnarounds and funding transactions.
